Detailed Tenant-Improvement Project To Be Completed in Just Over a Month

SKOKIE, Ill. (Oct. 10, 2012) – Eidco Construction, one of the fastest growing commercial construction management companies in the United States, today announced that it recently secured an extensive medical office renovation at 4905 Old Orchard Center, Suite 330, in Skokie, Ill. The property is also known as the Old Orchard Mall Professional Building.

The Eidco team will include Senior Project Manager Keith Borgstrom, LEED AP. Joe Lloyd is serving as both architect and designer.

The 1,052-square-foot tenant-improvement project for a gynecological practice involves the complete gut of existing space and new construction for an interior build out with three exam rooms, one back office and a patient waiting area.

Unique touches include an acoustical drop ceiling with custom wood cloud accents installed to soften the space and recessed cans and pendant lighting in lieu of two-by-four lay-in light fixtures. There will be custom maple built-in cabinets and maple wood wall accents in exam rooms and an ashlar accent wall in waiting area. The flooring will consist of a combination of carpet, vinyl wood, and linoleum.

The effort has a tight deadline with work expected to start on October 15 and be completed on or before November 30.
